The Bearcats are 5-2 (3-1), have lost 2 games by a total of 4 points, and still feel like they’re playing with house money. Coming into the season, 6 wins and bowl eligibility was the floor for expectations…with 5 to go, the team is in the driver’s seat to show that the rebuild is in full swing and they’re well on their way back to winning ways. Currently tied for 2nd place in the Big XII, the team remains in contention for a top 2 spot and a trip to Arlington for the conference championship game (remaining games against teams currently with 25-10 records, including #10 Iowa State & #16 Kansas State, both on the road).
Onward to Boulder…
UC travels to CU for a primetime game against a team with Coach Prime on the sidelines. Colorado will be a true test, with a sold out Folsom Field on Family Weekend and 2 Heisman candidates on the field. The Bearcats have fared well on the road and look to get another win against a gold & black team (in a stadium that hopefully doesn’t feel like it’s about to collapse like Erector Set Field in Central Florida)…and we’ll be there to cheer them on. Read on if you’d like to meet up for some pregame festivities!

Friday night meetup info:
Given the logistical challenges of planning events on the other side of the country, we’re making plans for our immediate group of 10-15, but welcome all who want to join. There won’t be a lot of bells and whistles, but there will be Bearcats fans consuming some adult beverages, listening to live music, and gearing up to beat Colorado.
With most of us staying in the Broomfield/Westminster area, we will likely be staying close. Our current plans are:
~7-8pm – meeting up at Kokopelli Beer Company in Westminster
If/when we decide to move on, some other options include Hofbrau Colorado (live music) & Wonderland Brewing Co.

What: Cincinnati Bearcats @ Colorado Buffaloes
When: Saturday, October 26, 2024. Kickoff time is 8:15pm MST
Where: We will meet at Boulder Social (1600 38th Street, Boulder, CO 80301) on Saturday afternoon.
You can reserve your own table – we booked one for 8 for our immediate group and plan to arrive between 2-2:30pm. We will likely leave around 5:30pm to walk (~1.5miles) to Folsom Field to explore the local tailgate scene and to catch all of the pageantry, including Ralphie’s run.
We’re told that game parking is allowed at Boulder Social, but keep in mind that you can park at CU’s East Campus for $20, walk to Boulder Social and/or ride a free shuttle to the stadium.
